| About the Tilton Main Street Program
The Tilton Main Street Program is dedicated to the revitalization of the downtown area as a community center, promoting a healthy, friendly, economically viable, and attractive Main Street.
It is the hope of the board and volunteers that Tilton's Main Street will become a premier destination point of the Lakes Region. Flanked by parks, and rich with historic buildings, the downtown is poised to offer both residents and visitors a sense of community and a place to gather. By working to improve the downtown in the areas of parking, streetscape, and economic reinvestment, visitors will return again and again to Main Street. Main Street properties will be utilized to their full potential creating a diverse downtown center in which to work, shop, or visit. Activities and events in the town center will attract young and old alike.
